Welle is proactive, whole-person care that turns labs, optional scans, and wearable data into an actionable plan—guided by a clinical visit and refined over time. Here’s how it works: (1) Complete a quick onboarding and order your testing, (2) review your results in a clinical visit and get a personalized plan, (3) follow your plan and check progress over time (including a ~6-month progress check and annual re-test). If supplements or clinician-guided prescriptions are appropriate, we make it simple to start—and often provide therapeutics at near cost—so you can focus on results, not markups.
Traditional healthcare is often about treating issues after they appear. Welle is designed to help you get ahead of them with proactive, whole-person care. By combining comprehensive labs, optional scans like DEXA, and wearable data, we uncover the patterns behind how you feel—then translate that into a personalized care plan with practical next steps. As your results improve and your goals evolve, your plan evolves too—so you have ongoing support alongside primary care. Think of Welle as your personal health operating system—guided support, measurable progress, and a plan that keeps getting smarter over time.
Most preventative care stops at information. Welle is designed for action. After reviewing your results with a licensed clinician, you’ll receive a clear, actionable care plan that brings everything together—how you feel, what your data shows, and what you can improve. From there, getting started is simple: we help you choose the right program and put real solutions in place, whether that’s personalized supplements, clinician-guided Rx when appropriate, and supportive habits to match. Then we adjust over time so you stay on track and see real progress.
An annual physical is usually a basic snapshot once a year. Welle is designed to make that yearly check-in more comprehensive and more actionable. We run deeper testing, review everything in a 40-minute clinical visit, and turn it into a clear plan you can start right away—alongside primary care. Then we check progress around 6 months, so you can make smart updates sooner—not a year later.
No—Welle doesn’t replace your doctor or concierge care. It helps you show up more informed and more prepared. With comprehensive labs, optional scans like DEXA, and wearable data—plus a clinical visit to connect the dots—you’ll have a clear, whole-person view of what’s going on and exactly what to do next. Many members share their Welle plan and results with their PCP to make appointments more productive and keep care coordinated.
Welle is available in 48 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. At this time, we’re not yet available in Rhode Island, Hawaiʻi, or Puerto Rico.
Welle is for adults 18+ looking for proactive, whole-person care. If you’re currently pregnant, Welle isn’t the right fit at this time. Get started with Whole Health to see where you stand today—and get a clear plan for what to do next.
Yes. You can purchase Welle as a gift and invite a friend or family member to get started. They’ll create their own private account and complete onboarding from there.
Welle’s core testing includes a comprehensive bloodwork panel (plus urine testing when appropriate) that helps assess cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, inflammation, hormones, nutrient status, and organ function. Many members also add a DEXA scan for body composition and bone health, and optional specialty panels based on goals. Your exact test list is shown during signup, and your clinician walks you through what matters most.
Yes. During signup—and anytime after—you can add optional panels or upgrades based on your goals (for example, deeper hormone, metabolic, heart, or inflammation testing, plus scans like DEXA where available). Your clinician can also recommend add-ons after reviewing your results, so you only add what’s likely to make a difference.
You can do either. Welle offers convenient lab draw options depending on your location—either an at-home collection experience or an in-clinic lab visit. During signup, we’ll show you the available options in your area so you can choose what’s easiest.
For in-clinic lab visits, you’ll go to a nearby Quest Diagnostics location (or another partner lab, depending on your area). During signup, we’ll show you the closest options and send everything you need—your lab order, what to bring, and any prep instructions (including fasting, if needed).
In most cases, yes. Many of Welle’s labs are most accurate when you fast, so we’ll give you clear prep instructions ahead of time—typically fasting for 8–12 hours (water is usually okay). We also recommend scheduling your lab draw in the morning when possible, and we’ll guide you on timing, medications, and supplements so your results are as accurate as possible.
Most lab visits take about 10–20 minutes once you’re checked in. The amount of blood needed depends on your specific tests, but it’s typically a few small tubes—similar to a standard lab draw. For comfort, we keep collections within a reasonable limit and won’t draw more than 9 tubes in a single visit.
A DEXA scan is a quick, low-radiation imaging scan that gives a detailed picture of your body composition. It measures body fat %, lean muscle mass, and where fat is distributed (including visceral fat around your organs). Many DEXA scans also include bone density, which helps assess bone health over time. The scan is painless, usually takes about 10–15 minutes, and gives you clear numbers you can track as your plan evolves.
No worries—these things happen. If you miss your lab appointment, you can reschedule in our app and use the same lab order. If there’s an issue with your sample (for example, not enough sample or a processing problem), we’ll let you know and help coordinate a redraw as quickly as possible so your results and care plan aren’t delayed.
Welle membership includes comprehensive testing once a year. After that, we recommend targeted follow-up testing every ~90 days when you’re actively working on specific goals (so you can see what’s changing and adjust sooner). If you prefer a lighter cadence, you can do a minimum progress check around 6 months to confirm what’s working and refine your plan. And you’re always welcome to retest any markers or add new tests at any time, based on your goals and your clinician’s recommendations.
